Dead and Gone

Fast paced, this is the were the "sups" come out to the public. A fairy war begins/ends/?? Leaves you still guessing who will Sookie end up with...
Fang
3 of 5 stars
It was a quick read. But nicely entertaining. Doesn't seem to be the end of the series.
The Girl Who Played with Fire
4 of 5 stars
A good follow up to the first book. Gave lots of insight into who Lisbeth is and left you wanting to crack open number 3 to see what she gets herself into next!
The Sea of Monsters
3 of 5 stars
A good follow up to the first, I like how it didn't over due review from book one. I look forward to the rest of the series.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

This book started off slow with a lot talk about Swiss banking, and stocks...blah blah... but I stuck with it. And man was it worth it. I really enjoyed getting the pieces to the puzzle then finally getting the final puzzle and entire sto...

Book vs. Movie (another one)

.

Shutter Island (book)

I read Shutter Island a few months before it became a major motion picture. The book was slow to start but then it drew you in and gave you something to think about. This was not a skim it and read it quickly, this was a book to read in depth and pay attention to every word. For there is a nice big twist in the end. I really enjoyed the book by the end, and was quite happy I stuck it out through the first few slow chapters. So since the book was good, I thought I’d give he movie a chance too…

Shutter Island The Movie

The movie was not as bad as I had heard it was going to be. Well at least for me it was not. My husband watched it along with me not knowing the story line in which I was previe to having been that I read the book ahead of time. He felt the movie was ok but lacking in some thing. I could understand this from his point of view, but from mine it was well done for the time frame in which it could do a movie vs the book. Again as with Twilight, James Patterson, Steven King, Anne Rice, Percy Jackson, and yes even Harry Potter… The book still wins! I recommend reading it then watching it!

Looking forward to Water for Elephants, (book was great). Along with Let the right one in, and Girl with the Dragon Tattoos…and many more great books with good films to follow LOL.
