Mid life crisis, or just insane?

I think I have gone insane! Or I am going through a mid-life Crisis. I just signed up to take a Motorcyle driving course with my sister in law. WHY? I got my dream car… JEEP… why do I need to risk my life on a motorcyle??? Why I tell you for LOVE! Love makes us do stupid stuff!!! I am taking this class not to drive my own motorcycle, but to be a better passanger so I can ride with my hubby!! Now is that love or what?! Maybe I should just tell him to follow behind me when we go places me in the jeep him on his crotch rocket (heehee). But for real I think this is the best thing to do so I understand the way a bike works and how to lean he has enought to worry about with insane drivers around here I don’t want him to have to worry I am leaning the wrong way! So August is looking busy now! Family vacation in August in the moutains as well – MEEP MEEP time :) ~ I will keep you posted!

Crabtree Falls = 8 years of marriage :)

We had a good time (despite the rain) camping at Crabtree Falls, VA.  We visited a few vineyards, climbed some rocks, got some come feet. Had some s’mores, some wine, some beer, some good friends, and a cute little cat follow us around.  Enjoy the pictures of how we spent our 8th year anniversary weekend.  Pictures are from my brand new PURPLE Nixon (my gift).  Poor Brian, his gift is on backorder and wont be here until June 9th! Devon got a GC to Best Buy.  O we celebrate every other year with Devon – we we did a family ceremony at the wedding to wed a Family so he gets the even years to celebrate with us.

New Year… New Beginnings… 2009

New Beginnings

New Beginnings

So we all have officially rung in the New Year.  Some with family, some with friends.  Some with sad hearts while loved ones were not near by.  Some alone, some with too many.  Some had beer others had wine, a few had liquor and even less had champagne.  Most watched the ball drop and did the count down, some lost electricity and winged it w/o the ball.  Thankfully of the ones I know did all of this safely.

Now with the New Year brings new beginnings in my family life my work life.  My wonderful husband Gomez is starting a new job on Monday after being at the same place for over eleven years.  Starting at a lower place on the totem pole, and lower pay, but thankfully even with this economy he was able to find a job that will allow us to keep our home! I can give up Starbucks, and Kohl’s and eating out to keep my home!  So here’s to new things to come… maybe he will come home happy from work – instead of frustrated and irritated and used and abused!

At my work we will hopefully be bringing in a new CEO to help us grow as a practice, and help our patients and community!

So here is to 2009 as the saying goes out with the old in with the new! May all of your hopes and dreams begin again?  May you and your family stay happy and healthy – to the New Year, to the new president, to starting some things again.

Happy New Year and Blessed Be!
